Stick to the south and south east beaches. They have white to tan very fine sand and are generally overhung by trees and palms. The water is turquoise and crystal clear. My favorite beaches while I was their were

Beaches

Turquoise water and white sand is the norm here. So are palmtree lined beaches. Most have a bar or restaraunt on them and a deserted beach is hard to find.

If you want to get away from work without really getting away from work; don’t worry. There is wi-fi at almost every mooring location in one form or another. Some spots, bars, beach resorts have varying strenght. Your phone will work though if you let it roam.

Where Are The BVI's

Location-BVI The BVI is located right across from St. Thomas and Just to the north of St. John. These are probally some of the best most cruiser/boat friendly places in the Caribbean. Their are massive mooring ball fields so dont worry about anchoring.

Activities

The Baths-In Virgin Gorda these rocky cave like boulder structures are a true wonder to be explored.

Boat Rental and Charters

White Bay Beach

Devil’s Bay National Park- Don’t know why its named this because the devil could never imagine anything this beautiful

Cane Garden Bay Beach

Most of the time I would expect people to just chill out, relax on the beautiful white sand beaches and swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters that surround the entire island, and of course boat tours, boat rentals, snorkeling, diving, tanning and boat charters. Most of the time I would expect people to just chill out, relax on the beautiful white sand beaches and swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters that surround the entire island.

Anchorages

Their aren’t very many good spots to anchor in BVI except on the east coast and their were only two that I saw boats is. Marine services down their are MINIMAL so make sure your boat is in top shape before heading over.

Given the number of charter boats in the area I'D say Road Harbour is your best bet for repairs.
