Our to 5 Bahamas Bars are:

Nippers Beach Bar

Another great beach bar would be to general of a description. This Abaco out island bar on Guana cay is THE place to be on sundays.

People from all over the Abacos come to Nippers on sundays for their legenday pool parties. It is the place to go and the place to bee seen in the Abacos.

The food is good and the drinks aren't cheep. When you see the beach from their perch atop a cliff and walk down to the perfect white sand beach with the turquose waters of the Abaco sound gently splashing onshore you will understand the drink prices.

Roudy Boys

A true local Bahamas Bar located just down the road from FLying Fish Marina on Long Island. Their friday pig roast is not to be missed under any circumstances. Its located on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic ocean and has unbelievable sunsets.

Make sure to ask for a shot of the "Juice" which is a local swill made by the owner. Just go easy on it. You've been warned.

Miss Emily's Blue Bee Bar

This is one of my all time favorate bahamas bars and may just be my favorite Caribbean bar. Miss Emily's Blue bee bar is located in the Abacos on Green Turtle Cay.

Their claim to fame is the Goombay Smash. Claim to fame is the wrong term. It really isn't a "claim" since they are the ones who origonated the cocktail. No matter what anyone says this is where the Goombay Smash was first made.

Chat and Chill

This Exumas Bahamas institution is located in between Stocking island and Great Exuma near the cruising mecca of Georgetown.

Anyone that has ever been to the southern Exumas has probally been here. They have legendary pig roasts and their are a bunch of friendly stingrays that occupy the shallow shore just off the beach.

Its a great bar for cruisers as their are mooring balls right out frount so you can get sauced and not worry about your anchor dragging.

Little Farmers Cay Marina

This is a special one for all you cruisers out their. I am a little conflicted about naming this one of my top 5 bahamas bars because I don't want to blow up the spot; but here it goes.

Little Farmers Cay Marina is in the middle of the Exumas and is the perfect half way stop on your trip down the Exumas. Its a quaint but beautiful island and the bar at the "yacht club" is beautiful. I have no idea how the owner Nixon got it their but I dont think theirs a better spot around to have dinner, sip a drink and watch your boat float in the crystal clear turquoise waters.
